Butter Bronzer Review
I have been waiting to get my hands on this bronzer for a while now and it's FINALLY available in UK shops!!
So I spotted a small selection of Physicians Formula products at Boots in the Trafford Centre (I love their little deluxe travel size section - great for trying new products!). They did have a few other products but I was too busy rummaging through the shades of these.
The Butter Bronzer comes in 4 shades: Light, Bronzer, Sunkissed and Deep. The write up on the website states "Ultra Luxurious bronzer, infused with Murumuru butter, delivers a radiant Brazilian goddess glow".
First of all what is Murumuru?? It is a highly nourishing moisturiser and it has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties, along with promoting nutrition to skin and hair.
I have worn the bronzer all week, in hindsight I should have picked up Light or Bronzed as Sunkissed is too dark for me but it works well used sparingly. I tried it on top of a few different foundations and applied with different brushes and found it worked well with all the foundations, but a big fluffy brush is best to apply for a natural look.
The texture is really soft & smooth and the pigment of the product is good - you definitely don't need to apply a lot to get a good colour payoff on the skin and it blends beautifully and really does give a "bronzed glow" finish.
The Butter Blush was an impulse buy, but it has the same ingredients as the bronzer so it is soft and smooth and blends beautifully.
The Butter Blush comes in 4 shades: Natural Glow, Vintage Rouge, Rosey Pink & Plum Rose.
I grabbed Plum Rose and it is a lovely natural shade but can be layered for a stronger colour.
I really like both the bronzer (although I need a lighter shade) and the blush and they a both reasonably priced. They have made a great addition to my makeup bag.
Physicians Formula Butter Blush: £10.99
And they are on 3 for 2 at the mo in Boots.....Go, Go, Go!!!
